  The bar staff were friendly and very welcoming but what ruined this pub was the manager and her umpa lumpa fella that were quite frankly horrible stuck up people and the way they spoke to paying customers was discusting.

  Chose this pub as a late Saturday night venue. They did not disappoint. We found a nice sofa to relax in while enjoying a pint or three listening to the live music. Lots of locals about and all friendly and welcoming. Nice old fashioned decor with exposed beams and plenty of antiqueish ornaments. Lovely!

  Asked the landlord to put coke mixer to the top of the glass.....then he charged me an extra £1.50 for a dribble. Cheeky, seeing as I'd already spent a bucket load in there.

  Nice cozy pub. Always the life of the town. Good choices of drinks. Music everyweek. Pool table, juke box, food. Outside seating. Nice view of canal.
