  Overpriced drinks taking advantage of the tourists (locals have a discount card) which is a shame. Gets incredibly busy on Saturdays which is great for them but no so much for a quiet evening! Food was basic but tasty, staff were very pleasant. Your typical busy, food led pub to be honest so they can't really be blamed for that - everyone needs to make a living and at the end of the day the food was good enough, beer was nice even if more than you would pay if you were skip half a mile inland (but that's the point I guess).

  I stayed at this Pub at the weekend on 14th January 2017, the room was reasonable and generally acceptable taking into account that the shower was not in working order.
  The breakfast was very good, many slices of good quality bacon, coffee, orange juice toast etc, all cooked to a good standard.
  Their Website states that you can obtain a discount card at the bar which allows you 5% off drinks and 20% off food. Although we were staying at the pub, they were not forthcoming with this card (with excuses only) and showed me their terms & conditions of this card which state that you need to apply 24 hours beforehand, so don't expect any privilege's at the bar or in their restaurant as this is for the locals only even if you stay as a B & B guest
